Orange Private Hospital Project

This week we are celebrating the long anticipated opening of the new Orange Private Hospital, which occupies two floors of the newly constructed Bloomfield Medical Centre.

Orange is regarded as one of the most significant medical referral centres in regional NSW, and the development provides great benefit to the local businesses and community.

The Bloomfield construction project was contracted to Zauner Constructions, and flawlessly designed by Leffler Simes Architects. Aesthetically the building is contemporary in nature with a facade that reflects the surroundings, while modern and sophisticated internally.

Dalcross Medical and Nexus Working Together

Our hospital project specialist Jayden Gage met with Rachel Hart – Nexus Commercial Director and Lyndie Driver-Smith Nexus Operations Director – Northern Region, to begin our working relationship for the project. Together they collaborated to find the perfect modern medical equipment and furnishings in suitable styles and colourings for each area.

Towards the delivery phase of the project, we worked with Mesha Premlall – General Manager/ DON of Orange Private Hospital to bring the Dalcross contribution to fruition.

Modena Patient Chairs

With height adjustable legs, a safe working load of 200kg and a lightweight, easy to move aluminium frame, the Modena is proof you can satisfy OH&S, practicality, comfort and style. Upholstered in Stamina commercial vinyl, the Australian made modena chairs were supplied to the new hospital for the patient rooms and waiting areas.

Also pictured are our waterproof and impact resistant HPL Overbed Tables with a milkwood top and grey base.

Dalcross Sleepover Ottoman

When space is at a premium in hospital rooms, it’s out with the fiddly sofa beds and in with the stylish sleepover ottoman. As luxurious as it is practical, the ottoman seats four visitors by day and doubles as a comfortable single bed by night. Complete with spacious drawers to house linen or personal items, there’s not a trip hazard to be seen. The Dalcross ottomans were manufactured here in Australia in Silver Ash Laminate and Pewter vinyl for the hospital’s paediatric & private rooms

Another Fantastic Project Complete

We also had the pleasure of working with Josephine Sut and Stefanie Pijaca from BASIS AUSTRALIA who were subcontracted by Zauner Constructions to take care of fixtures, fittings and installations. We supplied them with the wall mounted racks and safes.

It takes a lot of people, thought, planning, and important bits and pieces to fit out a new medical centre or hospital. It’s extremely rewarding when it all comes together, and looks great too! We know our customers have the peace of mind that what we’ve supplied is of the utmost quality, functionality and comfort.

We wish the staff and their patients all the very best as they open their brand new doors to the world.
